Pursuant to Section 11 of the City of Port Moody Sound Level Bylaw No. 1399 where it is impossible or impractical to comply with the prescribed decibel levels specified in Section 6, the General Manager of Planning and Development Services may give written approval to carry out work that is found to be necessary outside of the prescribed decibel levels.
The following company makes application for a temporary relaxation from the prescribed decibel levels of the Sound Level Bylaw 1980, No. 1399, Section 6:
As a condition of the approval, the applicant agrees to notify in writing all potentially affected residents within 120m (393.7 ft) of the subject property at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the proposed activity. Depending upon the proposed activity it may also be required that a notice be placed in two consecutive issues of a local newspaper prior to the activity commencing in a form acceptable to the city.
